YOU can help.

Mighty River Recovery is a newly formed non-profit being bootstrapped by it’s founders. In other words, very few people doing all the work. But that’s OK, because it’s a labor of love.

In order to survive and expand, and therefore represent our members correctly, we desperately need help.

The basis for this group will be education and communication. Discussion and networking will be key. Content is mandatory to keep us all informed and up to date.

Are you an avid St. Johns River user? Do you enjoy capturing photos and videos of the river and it’s inhabitants? We’d love for you to contact us and share some of your material. YOU can help us.

Or perhaps you’d like to sit in on some of the policy and management meetings we attend. Many of these are open to the public and real decisions are often made. Sadly, most citizens aren’t informed and don’t show up. But we do, and plan to more often. Maybe YOU can join us and lend a hand.

Want to volunteer for direct habitat improvement projects? We will be actively involved in replanting efforts and more, as coordinated through some of the fishing industry’s biggest partners. YOU can be part.

Have a flair for social media? YOU are in high demand. We’d love your help.

Have an active role in local business, or shine at fundraising? We’d love to have YOU help us make contacts.

Organized fishing groups? Teen anglers? Eco-tour interests? YOU are all needed.

Periodically, we will be listing specific needs on our social platforms. Regardless, we need YOU, and we need you now.
